We adopted Reeces from Golden Ridge Homestead on February 19, and bringing him home was one of the best decisions we’ve made! My husband surprised our family with him, and he said the adoption process was smooth, professional, and a wonderful experience from start to finish. We renamed him Chase, and he has been the sweetest puppy. He absolutely loves everyone he meets, adores our kids, and greets every person with a wagging tail and a happy heart. Our veterinarian gave him a clean bill of health, and he’s grown into a BIG, healthy boy who is loved beyond words ☺️🐶💛 We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Golden Ridge Homestead to anyone looking for a healthy, well-socialized puppy!

Highly recommended! Sam was very knowledgeable and helpful. Made the process very easy. All their puppies were is excellent health and beautiful! We took home Rachel which we named Maple in January.

Our family picked up our new puppy on 2/16/26. We chose Aaron, who has been renamed Roman. We had a very good experience with Sam and his staff while going through this entire process! We had time to visit all 4 puppies that were available to go home and immediately fell in love with the puppy we chose. We had our first vet visit today and he has received a clean bill of health. Our veterinarian commented on his very sweet and chill disposition as well as his beautiful looks. One of the things I really appreciate about Roman is how well adjusted he is. We have 2 children and he is very calm and gentle with them. He came home and was completely unaffected by loud noises or new things. You can tell these puppies have been socialized and were loved while under Sam’s care. After 3 days, Roman is completely crate trained and sleeping 8 hours through the night. He’s doing well with both leash and potty training, too! Our family is so thankful to have found an amazing golden retriever puppy from Golden Ridge!

We got out little momma from homestead goldens earlier this week. The process was very easy, straight forward and she is such a joy to add to our family. Not sure how lucky we are getting but she’s already really good in the crate at night and such a mush! Couldn’t be any happier!

Picked up our Golden on 9/20. The Breeder was great to deal with. The facilities were excellent and very clean. I highly recommend Golden Ridge Homestead in Honey Brook. So far the Dog exceeds expectations. She is smart, well behaved, and already understands basic commands. Vet check was excellent as well.

What a great experience! Sam was great to work with and the puppies were all beautiful. We picked Polly Anna and she has a great temperament. She had her first vet visit today and is adapting well. I would highly recommend this breeder to family and friends.

We bought our beautiful, healthy, and affectionate golden, Bear, from Sam about 3 months ago. Sam was friendly, professional, and happy to answer any of our questions prior to bringing Bear home. Bear was born with bilateral entropion but Sam had the vet correct the issue at 8 weeks and told us what to look for in the event he needed the issue corrected in the future (his eyes have been perfect). Sam followed up with us a few weeks after we brought Bear home just to check in and see how things were going. If we ever decide to add another golden to our family, we will definitely call Sam.

My wife and I decided to get a dog, specifically, a golden retriever puppy. We did quite a bit of homework to find a reputable and caring breeder in our area and found Golden Ridge Homestead. We could not have been more pleased. We met the owner, Sam Zook, who is thoughtful, caring, kind and takes excellent care of his puppies and their parents. The pups are well fed, well cared for and have plenty of space to play and exercise. Sam answered all of our questions, gave us some helpful tips and allowed up plenty of time to interact with the pups. We scheduled a second visit and selected Tasha, nka Nahla. She is a joy to have in our home. She’s smart, affectionate and curious. She loves to play and after being a little homesick the first 2 days is starting to show us all of her sparkling, playful personality goldens are known for. We highly recommend Golden Ridge Homestead.

I cannot recommend Golden Ridge Homestead enough if you are looking for a reputable breeder who raises their Goldens in a responsible and family environment. Sam was incredibly responsive, answered all our questions and provided us with help and advice before, during and after purchasing our puppy. She came fully vet checked and with all the paperwork and our vet commented on the beautiful temperament of her. Will definitely get another dog from them and highly recommend!

Since my family, especially my children, have been thinking of and dreaming about adding a dog to our family, I have spent time researching and searching for the ideal and perfect pet. I am so glad I came across the breeder who introduced us to our perfect puppy who we are proud to call Rusty. We are grateful to have found a well cared and healthy puppy. Mr. Sam not only does a wonderful job caring for all the puppies and preparing them for their new homes and families but he also eased my anxiety and addressed my concerns about becoming a new puppy parent. Thank you for filling our home and hearts with much joy. Our family is now complete ♥️

Francine Was very skeptical at first because I could not find many reviews on Golden Ridge Homestead or on Sam Zo ok . Mr. Zook kept in touch with me and answered all my questions before I made the trip there, sent pictures and video.. He was professional and did not rush me. "Reese" as we call him is such a pleasure. He is playful and a joy. I only wish I could have gotten 2. The homestead was clean and well kept. The dogs were happy and both parents were on-site.
